Just wanted to drop you a quick Thank You. I was lucky enough to experience your wonderful tour to the outback and Lake Eyre. It has been the best holiday I have had so far – enjoyed every minute of it. Also wanted to let you know how wonderful your Tour Guides – Paul and Sandra are and how well they looked after us. They are so organised and always on time – very informative and very helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We have now been to some amazing places and met some interesting local people – these are the things that you never forget. I will definitely be telling all my family and friends what a great trip we had. The accommodation – always very comfortable – The Food was great – good variety and always plenty of it. We spent many good times with the other passengers on the trip and will definetely be catching up with some of them in the future. Thank You again. Hopefully I will travel with you again sometime.

I just wanted to say I had a fantastic trip to Lake Eyre and a big thank you on Cooper Pedy which was very interesting. The flight over Lake Eyre was fantastic but the all round trip was great. I also which to mention that Sandra was great and made our trip as well. Anyway thanks again and will mention to anybody that wants to visit that area about you guys.

Along with my sister Sue Barletta and my cousin Jenny Peardon, I recently went on your 5-day Lake Eyre trip which departed Adelaide on 5th October. Just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We found our drivers/tour guides, Paul and Sandra, to be very helpful, friendly and informative. They did an excellent job of looking after us for the whole trip, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a lot of fun and Paul and Sandra showed us some amazing parts of the country. It is obvious that they are both passionate about what they do. We’ve been raving about our trip to all our family and friends since we’ve been back home and have been recommending Gecko to everyone. Thank you so much for a wonderful and very memorable tour.

You may recall that we requested a booking on a safari on which Sandra was to be the guide because she was so highly recommended to us ….. We thoroughly enjoyed the Gekko safari and are full of admiration for Sandra’s part in the Lake Eyre experience. For over fifteen years I acted as site coordinator/local guide for US Elderhostel tour groups in North Queensland. Thus I could appreciate what a sterling job Sandra was doing as guide/coordinator/driver/ BBQ cook/etc, etc. It was a great experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and hopefully so far may have encouraged a cousin and some acquaintances to think about doing the Gekko thing.

We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our tour to Lake Eyre and especially Coober Pedy. We were very impressed with our Guide, Derek. He was a particularly good driver and gave us a most enjoyable time giving us lots of information and he took us to lots of interesting places. Please pass on to him our thanks and regards. The Tour was wonderful. I’m not going into it now, as I need time to sort my thoughts and photographs out, but rest assured it was brilliant. Both Norma and I are thirsty for more as I think she has already told you. So please keep us on your mailing list should you be having any new ones on your itinery. I did a wine tour on Sunday and was expounding to all the passengers, how FANTASTIC !!! Gecko Safari Tours were and recommending you like mad. Again so many thanks, and when I have wrapped my mind round the Tour I will be in touch again.

We have just come down from cloud 9. What a great trip we had, every day there was a new experience and country we had never seen before. It was hard to decide which was the highlight of the whole adventure . Margaret being a former Art Teacher could not go past the texture, patterns and colours of Lake Eyre. For me it was the boat trip on Spencer Gulf. The Skipper a very passionate person was a real Tourist asset. Paul our driver and guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Always willing to go that extra step to make it a memorable holiday. Many thanks Paul and Xavier and all the best for the future.
